Lancaster County Community Corrections, Evaluation of Sentence Conversion Program

Since 2017, Soval Solutions has worked as the official research partner with Lancaster County (NE) Community Corrections to serve as an evaluator on a sentence conversion program funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance. The multi-year program is intended to provide young criminal defendants in Lancaster County with alternative sentencing programs, with the goals of alleviating pressure on the local jail and improving recidivism outcomes for this population. Results of the program will be made available as data are collected and analyzed.

Nebraska State Bar Association, Judicial Evaluation Poll

Since 2014, Soval Solutions has analyzed and reported the Judicial Evaluation Poll on behalf of the Nebraska State Bar Association.  The Judicial Evaluation Poll provides critical information about attorney perceptions of judicial performance in the State of Nebraska.  The information from the poll can help voters make informed decisions about the retention of judges throughout Nebraska. U.S. Air Force, Peak Performance Training

From 2016-2017, Soval Solutions held a contract to deliver Peak Performance Training to Airmen at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas.  The training was designed to help Air Force personnel more effectively manage stress in their personal and professional lives.  The training was delivered by industry experts in the field of psychological resilience and well-being.  Soval Solutions managed the delivery of the training program and was responsible for evaluating its effectiveness.

NASA Johnson Space Center, Neurobehavioral Checklist

From 2014-2015, Soval Solutions served as a subcontractor on an effort to characterize potential neurobehavioral decrements among astronauts involved in long-duration spaceflight.  To do this, Soval Solutions conducted a systematic review of the academic literature on the effects of prolonged isolation and confinement on neurobehavioral outcomes among individuals working in high-stress occupations in extreme contexts.  The report was submitted to NASA Johnson Space Center Technical Report Server and can be accessed here.

State of Kansas, Protection Report Center

The Kansas Protection Report Center (KPRC) is part of the Kansas Department of Children and Families. In 2019, Soval Solutions worked with the KPRC to assess its operations and recommend operational improvements. The team utilized by qualitative and quantitative methods to accomplish the task. Recommendations were put forth in late 2019. Work is ongoing.
